The circular black marble top above a plain frieze and a concave-sided column-carved ventral stem, above a circular spreading foliate-carved socle and acanthus-carved feet with brass castors, stencilled inventory numbers '11636' and '11638' and "Krongut" label. Rest., damages due to age.

Exhibited on loan as part of the large state exhibition 2013 "In the Splendour of the Tsars" (Im Glanz der Zaren) at the Landesmuseum Württemberg
Almost certainly delivered circa 1820 for the refurbished apartments of William I of Württemberg at the Stadtschloss Stuttgart and thence by descent. According to catalogue entry of Christie’s, recorded
in the Stadtschloss on 6 October 1891.
